Lifestyle Block Services Ltd (LBS) is owned by Jon Winskill.

Jon grew up on an 800 hectare sheep and cattle farm in the Cheviot area of North Canterbury where he learned various skills from a young age. Stock work, fencing , tree work and mowing were part of a daily routine whilst at primary school.

Whilst home during the school holidays from high school and university in Christchurch he worked in local shearing gangs as a rouseabout and then in a crutching team.

After ten years in the corporate world Jon decided to go out on his own and successfully ran a contract spraying business ( South Island Vegetation Control) for ten years which was sold as a going concern in 2014.

​

His love of rural life now continues on a lifestyle block in Ladbrooks.
